The once over didn't escape her notice, but she was used to it in here. But usually not until one of the guys had had one too many. Quickly she jotted down his order. "Smooth, you come up with that one all by yourself sugar?" she tried to cover her southern accent, but it didn't work so well. She tore the paper from the pad and went to give it to Terry. None of her other orders were ready so she went back behind the bar and grabbed a bottle of beer. Resting the edge of the cap on the counter she hit it with her palm and the cap came off. With a wink she handed it over.
He wasn't a vampire, not ordering that, so she wondered what he was. Too bad her cousin wasn't there, he could tell her if something was wrong with him. Grabbing a couple glasses from the bar she dried them with the rag and set them aside.
Jason walked in as usual, she gave him a nod and a smile as headed towards Hoyts table. With Sookie missing Jason had been a little on edge, though he hadn't been around as much lately, spending a good deal of his time out in Hotshot for some reason. Setting the next glass down she stole a peek at the stranger, watching him a moment before he could notice.
