She was thrilled to see Callie walk through that door this afternoon. Wilma knew that she was alright due to the phone calls and emails she had sent her. But, she had always hoped that she would finally make it back to the town she grew up in for half of her life. She understood why she didn't want to come home. There were too many memories here of her father and mother. But, if the girl thought about it, Wilma was here and she was apart of her family as well. She had been like a mother to her since the passing of her biological mother when she was a baby. Not that her and Callie's father were an item. They were just good friends.
As the bell rang, Wilma turns to see the large gentleman walk in, giving her a nod and takes a seat at the counter. She had seen the boy around town as of late and there was just something that didn't set right with Wilma. But, the man was sure nice to look at. Bringing Callie her lunch, she pats her shoulder softly before walking behind the counter and flips open her order pad.
Wilma snaps her gum as she nods to Alcide. "What can I get ya, handsome?"
