His brow raised and he felt like a deer caught in headlights for a moment. Slightly he shook his head. "Um, no. Just, taking what I hope is a short cut." The girl couldn't of been more than eighteen, and her hair stood out, especially against the contrast of her very pale skin. But still, he couldn't shake the feeling he had that there was something about her that didn't quite meet the eye.
"Kinda late to be out alone." And yet she was carefree, not seemingly worried about a thing in the world. Had she been any younger he wound of worried about the possibility of maybe Lilith being back, with the innocence the girl seemed to have.
