Jo had been in town for a couple of weeks now and she'd seen a lot of strange things. Still, though, she hadn't been quite able to pinpoint one specific reason. It was getting to the point where every connection she found pointed to more than one paranormal instance in this town. Didn't that just figure? But still, she was damn determined to get the job done, even if it wound up killing her a second time. Couldn't be a hunter and not embrace the risk that came with it. At least, Jo couldn't. Or wouldn't.
Pushing open the door to a diner she'd found, Jo ran a hand through her hair and checked to make sure her knives and gun were both secure and hidden (no need to go scaring or alienating the locals after all). It didn't take but a second to find herself a seat in one of the booths, giving the redhead behind the bar a nod in greeting and a smile at the same time. Sometimes all it took to disarm a person to a new arrival was a smile and a nod.
Picking up the menu, Jo bit her lip in thought, wondering what all she was going to get. She had enough cash to last her a bit, and when she didn't, well, it was easy to just bust out a fake credit card.
