First you completely suck me in to reading SPN RPF (it's the SPN here that's the weird part, since I have yet to watch a single episode of the show and I still get Jared and Jensen confused).
Then, I end up with the Killer Bunnies From Hell for David, Jason and Joe.
Then my spouse-person gets sucked into the yawning void too.
And now....
Now I've got Ben Daniels, Jason Isaacs smirking at me, because they know I'm going to cave and write about Sir Ian's Wacky House of Ex-Pats:
Lord Ian McKellan (master): Wealthy British ex-pat who had no interest in returning after the borders were sealed. Insists on being called "Sir Ian" because that's a title that's legitimately his.
Lady Nimet Kanji (master): Sir Ian's adopted daughter. Rumor has it that she was stranded and after the Change back home, he adopted her as a favor to a friend.
Ben Daniels (slave): Sir Ian's secretary, agent, and all-around troubleshooter. Is actually working undercover for MI6. All of his documentation from Commerce is legitimate, but Sir Ian has the codes to deactivate his chip should it become necessary--and if he should decide to do so.
Noam Jenkins (slave): Sir Ian's body-slave.
Eva Birthistle (slave): Nimet's body-slave.
Marnie McPhail (slave): Household manager.
Jason Isaacs (slave): C-list British genre actor stranded in LA after the Change. Couch-surfed and hid out with friends for over a year before Commerce caught up with him. Initial assessment showed that while he could be a competent secretary or even body-slave (despite his age), he was an excellent cook. Commerce trained him and sold him to Sir Ian for a respectable sum.
*cries* Because I so needed this! Except for the part where I really didn't.
On the other hand, it'll give me something to do when I need a break from Joe and his angst-filled past. I've been working on his POV of growing up with Dylan, and it's a little rough at times.
