Geralt was finding that the creature he was caring for liked mud. It practically got mad the other day when he cleaned it up. So it was now becoming habit that it takes the creature out for a walk around Westview, up to Kaer Morhen on the edge of town and let it run around the outdoor obstacle course with him. And then it would, inevitably, find a patch of dirt or mud and roll in it making the happiest noises. It was so strange but...not terrible as far as Westview mishaps went. They were walking back down from the keep to the apartment Geralt still kept key to. Jaskier had one, as well, and he knew the other had been there before they left. The problem was going to be going in with the creature. Mud was coated on it and unfortunately, Geralt was no better from some light training. Once they reached the apartment, he slipped his sword shealth over his head and rested it against the porch steps and said, "Now Roach, you stay. I'll get the hose for you." The donkey like creature made a sound as if it was angry. Geralt found it easy to interpret oddly enough and frowned, crossing his arms. "No. You have to be clean to go inside. When we come out again, you can roll and dirty all you'd like." He trailed off, frowning. "I'll likely do the same, in truth." He chuckled to himself, patting the creature on the head and said, "I'll get help. Jaskier?" He called the bard's name, hoping he'd hear and come outside if his hands weren't full with his own creature he was caring for. |
