It was still so strange to go to the house where his friend apparently lived. Or, his fake family did. The whole situation of Westview would never get old and cease to bewilder Izuku. The fact that someone had magic and enough of it to do all of this? It was pretty incredible. He'd spent a lot of time trying to understand it all and part of him still believed it might just be that person's Quirk - but that didn't seem to be a thing here.

Nevertheless, the situation of being stuck didn't change that he wanted to celebrate the holiday. His mom would have been so upset if he just gave up and wanted to sit sad the whole time. Izuku had ended up asking his fake family - who he still tried to play along with and call mom and dad - if he could get presents for people. There was only one or two people other than Katsuki that he knew and got a present for, which he gave at school. But this was special! His only friend from home had to get the best present he could find.

He'd knocked on the door and was careful when one of the parents opened it and greeted him. Izuku cleared his throat, adjusting the large box in his arms and peeking over it. "I'm sorry to just stop by but is, um..." He had to remember the fake name that Katsuki had. "Is TK home? I wanted to give him his Christmas present," he said through a bright smile. "I had to find a box big enough for it."

These people weren't his parents and the person who he used to be, who he thought he'd been, was different. While Bakugo had never put too much thought or consideration into the feelings of the people around him he was trying to do better. His time at UA had actually managed to teach him something whether he wanted to admit it or not. These people weren't his parents no matter what they thought so that meant he couldn't treat them the same way. He had to be considerate of their feelings or something. Which wasn't a big deal. No one from home was around and no one was going to judge him or think he was weak for actually controlling his temper.

Scratch that. Almost no one from home was around. "What do you want?" He asked, walking down the stairs and fixing Deku with a glare before his "mother" could say anything. "Touya..." She chastised. "That's no way to greet your friends." He tensed, obviously angry but didn't lash out the way he normally would. She wasn't really his mother. She was just an ordinary, oddly quirkless, civilian under the influence of someone else's quirk. He probably shouldn't yell at her no matter how much he wanted to. Instead he glared at the other boy, expression turning to one of curiosity as he noticed the large box. "What the hell is that?" His mother rolled her eyes but decided to leave the boys be. "Be nice." She stressed, messing up his hair as she walked away.

Izuku had inched in, only a little just incase he would get told to go away even after the woman had been kind. He winced, a slight frown appearing and gesturing to the box.

"It's your present. For Christmas. I know you probably didn't get me anything but that's okay! I just saw this and...thought of you." And once he saw the object, it might seem obvious and very silly. "Do you want to open it?" he asked, brighter this time over the excitement of the faint possibility that the other might like it.
