Who: Adam Milligan and Damon Salvatore (Stefan is probs lurking around, too) Where: The Salvatore Boarding House When: Monday morning, July 4 What: Plot shenanigans! Adam is a girl. Life is bad. Rating/Warning: TBD. I want to say low but they could surprise us!
Everything had been fine. The night before had been spent outside, watching fireworks together as Stefan hung out or suked somewhere in the background. Adam still didn’t know what to make of the eternal teenager but the younger Salvatore had been welcoming. Accepting. Adam may not have known what he felt about the younger brother but his presence had become a familiar one. The night had been a comfortable one and he’d expected much of the same the next day.
That was a mistake.
Westview was strange. Since he’d come to this town (he was still fuzzy on the details and couldn’t even remember how long it had been) bizarre events had ranged from minor annoyances to a robot apocalypse. Things had only calmed down recently with the biggest change being the upgrade of the town to a city. He would admit that he’d become complacent during the lull. He’d grown comfortable and hadn’t even stopped to imagine that something big could be around the corner. That’s why he hadn’t noticed the change at first.
Adam had climbed out of bed and took no notice of the way the clothing he’d slept in seemed to hang off his frame. He’d shrugged off the suspicion that certain shelves seemed higher and had blown hair out of his face a few times without a thought. He was still half asleep while he was in the bathroom, washing up for the morning while he pondered a trip to see his father and a few of his brothers. It seemed like a good opportunity to get introductions out of the way. If Damon was willing.
“Hey, Damon…?” He called and froze when he realized his voice was too… different. Too high pitched, too feminine. He turned and the hand holding the bathroom vanity open was too thin, too delicate to belong to him. He swung the vanity closed and stared at the unfamiliar woman in front of him with wide eyes before he let out a scream.
