Who: Everyone Where: Westworld Intranet When: December 15th - 18th Rating: PG for potential Smack Talk
OOC Rules:
Rule 1: Have fun. Expand, let this be a way to RP with people you might not otherwise. Rule 2: Keep it realistic. Yes all the guests are very wealthy, but this isn't some charity donation. It's a huge chunk of change in a place they're already spending a grand a day just to visit. Rule 3: Some auction purchases will be set to go to a given player for plots and other things. These will be updated on this list as I am told about them, but communicate amongst yourselves as well. Rule 4: Host players have final say in the matter. If your character wins a host, but you failed to plot something out, and the player cannot be reached or does not approve of what you wanted to do, then that's too bad for you. If someone is godmodding your character just because they won, let us know immediately. Rule 5: Winners Week will be the first week after Christmas starting on Monday the 26th. The new host storylines will begin at midnight as per usual and run the course of the week. Rule 6: You can interact with each other on this thread.
IC Rules:
All hosts go up for auction to the highest bidder. Bidding stops are precisely midnight Sunday evening. Any bids past this are disqualified. Winning guests will be able to request specific roles in their host's storyline. They can be an ex lover, a family member, an enemy, a childhood friend, or even just have them programmed to fall instantly in love with them the moment they lay eyes on them. If nothing is plotted, the default winner storyline is "long lost childhood friend."
Auction is conducted on the secure intranet, with all bids being conducted electronically. All bids are public, and can be watched from any computer connected to the intranet. Any guest who has ever visited the park already has a login and can access it. Bids are done in increments of $50 dollars minimum. No single dollar increases. All Hosts have a facial and body picture displayed next to their name and vital statistics. Height, weight, measurements, basic role, ect. A portion of the proceeds will go to charity. However, this does not count as a charitable donation and cannot be written off on a guest's taxes.
