Hello, everyone! I'm R and by way of a certain cowboy, this community was suggested to me. I have to say, I'm loving what I'm reading and thinking I could rehash Gunner here to fit the role. That being said, I was considering making him a saloon host. As rugged and ready to shoot first, ask last as he is? Gunner hides his true desires. He's a sinner in his own eyes, beyond saving and worries he will let down his father if word gets out he hopelessly loves other men- which is why he tries to fill the void with pretty ladies and keep up appearances! Some key notes about Gunner that I'm going to be touching on. - Gunner tries to keep his desires hidden as best as possible. He's no fool. But that doesn't mean he's always successful in the act. He will be a Host who falls into suffering acts of violence towards him to further a story, particularly if Guests show more open interests in him.
-He is not a firm believer in God. He is not his father. However, he still can be seen outside the church during service- listening as best he can. He doesn't feel he is allowed within such holy grounds, because he is too dirtied to be washed clean by holy water. That doesn't mean he won't be capable of developing a story towards finding more religion, though, especially if inclined by others he connects with.
-His father is either seen as a great man worth praise or a traitor to the good people. Gunner loathes that he lives under such a shadow and is untimely expected to suffer the same fate.
-Gunner has a temper. He won't harm Guests per his programing, but he will spook them if they cause him too much distress. His rage is kept in check on the regular by the liquid he's often seen with at night, thus his earned nick name, whiskey.
Thoughts and suggestions would be loved! I'm seeking all sorts of possible lines for him and would love something intricate. However, I do often play the organic route so running him as a Host with a sort of 'pick your own adventure' option when it comes to Guests interacting with him (and other Hosts!) intrigues me.
Edit: YAY! Gunner is a real boy now! Haha. Okay, so he's a saloon host. Still! Come on, ladies and gents, enjoy some quality time with a man who won't tell you to stop bitching (unless you're really not paying his rates).
