Thor paced around his apartment, which was a strange enough occurrence for him, trying to ponder just what he should do with himself. Between trying to balance his rage with Loki, reconcile the fact there was now a younger version of his Brother here, and deal with Jane's calming presence now being gone, Thor had simply been unsure of how to conduct himself. The human world, after all, was still alien to him (even if he had been getting better), and Thor found himself quite confused as to how it was he should live among them. Starring out the window, as he often did lately, Thor watched the goings on of the town. People were carrying many bags and gifts, all bundled in, what looked to Thor, uncomfortable garments. It was layers and large hats, strange things on their hands, and long fabrics around their neck. Were humans really so susceptible to the cold that this was how they had to go about living in these conditions? He almost chuckled to himself. For such a powerful race of people, they were remarkably fragile. Perhaps that was something he could do today? Help people with their festive bustling? It seemed like a decent enough thing to do, and would likely provide much into the insight of this holiday which, if he was to remain here, would likely require him to participate in eventually. Surely they wouldn't mind answering the questions about why trees and lights, and just what was with all of the kissing he observed going on days below? Having decided, and not being one who often wasted time with doors, stairs, or elevators, Thor simply loosed Mjolnir from his belt. Giving the hammer a series of aerial spins, Thor thrust himself skyward from the patio and tossed himself, rather safely, to the street below. Perhaps it might not have been the most prudent course, but Thor didn't think most would mind. They were, in a town populated by Gods and wielders of great magic. Now, making a straight line for the sidewalk, it was time for the God of Thunder to get himself some answers about just what this 'Christmas' was all about. |
