Things were... a hell of a lot better than they were on the other side, although that wasn't to say that things were perfect. In many ways Lexi felt like she'd hit heaven. Stefan didn't really need her as much, but he also had Caroline, which Lexi was really grateful for. It killed her that she couldn't be there for him since she was well killed, but she was alive now, or at least as alive as a dead person could be. She liked that she got to see Elijah again, catch up with even Rebekah even though she'd never been her favorite. It amazed her as she watched back on the show she apparently was from how much things over lapped and how they all were slightly missing it. No matter how old any of them got they all had something to learn.
She was on that thought of path as she once again watched the sun set with the warmth just barely hitting her cheeks. It was remarkable to be able to be outdoors and not burst into flames, but to experience day light. It was impossible to explain the feeling she had every sunrise. The words weren't easy to come by. She was thinking about that as the night set in and she was walking towards the tower she lived in. She'd have to go find Stefan. "Whiskey." She said smiling as she turned around just catching sight of Elijah as she did.
"Hey, you!" She said clearly directed at probably the person that had known her the longest. He'd turned her, it was safe to say he knew her. "What are you doing out here? Don't tell me you're out looking to find yourself more trouble." She teased as she headed towards him to kiss his cheek in a typical greeting. Little did she knew that attempt at a kiss on the cheek changed to an urge as where she found herself standing with him was under a mistletoe. Her typical greeting was changed into something much more passionate as she kissed his lips.
