Who: Arthur and Eames What: Eames has returned! Where: Granny's Diner. When: Saturday, November 23. Afternoon. Rating: Low. Status: Incomplete.
Eames was back. He was back. Arthur couldn't believe it. He had known he had missed the man, but the return of Eames had made him realize exactly how much he had missed him. So when Eames told him he would be waiting at Granny's, Arthur dropped everything to go to him. He would always drop everything to go to Eames, especially if Eames needed him.
But the man didn't remember being here before. He didn't remember being in a relationship with Arthur. He didn't remember being engaged to Arthur, either. That part was hard for Arthur to deal with, but he was quite certain that they would be able to get to where they had been before Eames's departure.
Arthur was at Granny's within a couple of minutes, as it was relatively close to the apartments. Everything in this town was relatively close to other locations. Benefits of a small town or something. The moment Arthur stepped into the diner, he spotted Eames. Eames was hard to miss, especially when one was madly in love with him. Which Arthur happened to be. He made his way toward the man, a small smile playing on his lips.
Out of habit, Arthur leaned in for a kiss when he was close enough for one. But he remembered that Eames didn't remember a thing about being here, about anything that had happened here. That didn't stop him, but it did shorten the kiss quite a bit. Arthur's lips brushed lightly along Eames's, for barely a second.
He settled down at the table across from Eames. When the waitress stopped by to see what Arthur wanted to drink, he settled for a cup of coffee. His gaze met Eames's once more once the woman left, and he smiled a bit. "Hello, Eames."
