While part of him did want to sleep with Buffy again, he was in love with her after all, that wasn't the only reason he wanted them to share a room. He liked being close to her, enjoyed holding her while she slept the night before everything went pear shaped back in Sunnydale and he wanted that again. Not that he'd admit it of course. Well maybe to Buffy; after a lot of badgering that is. He supposed that he was just going to have to accept that he was being assigned to the couch, but he wouldn't do it easily.
When Buffy opened the door, he quirked a brow at her. "Not baking a cake, so no. Came to talk to you actually. The Niblet home?" He asked despite the fact that he already knew she wasn't. He was a vampire after all and both his sense of smell and hearing were heightened and he didn't hear nor smell Dawn in the apartment.
