Aside from the whole costume debacle, which Spike had tried to warn people about, not that he was surprised no one had listened to him, things had been going pretty well for Spike. Angel was gone, which freed up one more obstacle for him and Buffy, which speaking of him and Buffy, things had been going pretty well ever since she'd come back. Of course, being the semi-pessimist that he was, Spike was constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop and tear Buffy away from him again. The semi-optimist in him said that if she'd been around this long as maybe it would stick this time. At least that's what he hoped for.
Spike had also recently gotten a job as a bouncer at Storybrooke's other local dive-bar, which was extremely interesting. Spike had never actually had a job before, but he'd figured that if he was going to make a good impression with Buffy then he should probably stop stealing what he needed. Well, stop stealing all the time. And having money was the best way to go about that.
Deciding not to spend his night off in the bar that he worked in, Spike headed down to the Hanged Man to see what was going on, for a little while, and took a seat at the bar. When the girl turned to him, Spike quirked a brow at her, "Not Billy Idol, if that's what you're thinking."
