Who: Marian Hawke and Arthur.
When: Sunday, July 14. Afternoon.
Where: A park in Storybrooke.
What: Arthur doesn't believe in magic and is shown proof that it exists.
Rating: Low.
Arthur was not quite sure what he was expecting, when he agreed to meet the woman he had been talking to over the network. He knew she believed she could perform magic, but he wasn't sure if it was true magic. What was true magic, anyway? The only magic he knew of was either a magician's tricks, or the magic in the world of movies. Neither magic was actually real.
But he knew he needed proof that this wasn't a dream. He knew that if it was a dream, that he would need to get out of it somehow. But he wanted to make sure it was a dream before attempting to get out of it. And if he saw someone perform what they believed to be magic, then... perhaps he could believe that he was actually sent here through a portal. A magical portal.
This was all too much for Arthur. He was a highly logical person, and the rules of magic didn't seem to mesh well with his rules of logic.
But there he was, in the park, where he and the woman had agreed to meet. He had to see this, whether it was real or not. He settled down on a bench, and waited patiently for the woman to arrive. The woman whose name he had never gotten before agreeing to meet with her. But he was one of the few people in the park, he was certain that they would be able to find each other.
