Arthur should have been paying more attention to his surrounds. He was looking for a building, after all. Towers, which should be pretty easy to find, but he was looking nonetheless. So when he felt someone walk directly into him, it didn't really surprise him. Though, just because he wasn't paying attention to where he was going didn't mean that the other person shouldn't have been paying attention.
Then he heard the man's voice before he turned to see who it was who had run into him. Of course, he thought to himself. Why wouldn't Eames be there? They were in the same place before he arrived here, he assumed that Eames would be there as well.
There was a slight smile from Arthur when he turned to face Eames. "It's about time. Where have you been hiding?" He was rather happy to see the man, though he wasn't about to admit to exactly why he was happy to see him. Except that Eames was his friend. One was usually happy to see a friend, right?
Arthur rolled his eyes at Eames's opinion of the sheriff's looks. Of course he would find the sheriff attractive. Who didn't Eames find attractive? You... was the answer that drifted through Arthur's head, and he just shook his head slightly to rid himself of the thought.
"It's good to see you here." Arthur really was glad to see Eames there, even if the only reasoning he would give himself was because he didn't want to be friendless in a new place.
He peered at his map for a moment, before glancing up at the street sign. "That way..." He motioned to the street on the right.
