Who: Arthur and Eames When: Saturday July 13. Afternoon. Where: Arthur is on a mission to find where he'll be living in Storybrooke. What: Arthur and Eames find each other. Rating: Some cursing, probably. Let's say PG-13 to be safe.
Arthur wasn't exactly sure where he was. He thought this might be one of the many dreams he had experienced, but the only thing was that he didn't recall entering a dream. Not out of his own free will, anyway. And he had lost the ability to dream on his own. After finding out about the ability to enter dreams and be completely conscious throughout them, he found that he was unable to dream on his own.
But... this was different. This didn't seem like a dream. And he knew for a fact that he didn't choose this dream. He sighed softly, and reached into his pocket to see if he still had his loaded die. He removed it from his pocket once his fingers brushed over the familiar feel of it. It felt the same as it did whenever he was in the real world, whenever he wasn't in a dream.
But that didn't make sense. Why would he suddenly be in this new place, without any sort of explanation? Had he been drunk? He remembered going out with Eames the night before, or had the night not ended? Had Eames slipped something into his drink to make him forget an extended period of time? Is that how he got here? If it was how he got here, where was Eames? He knew Eames well enough to know that the man wouldn't just leave him in the middle of a strange town and... no. He wouldn't, Arthur knew the man well enough for that.
...well. He supposed this couldn't be the worst thing that's ever happened to him. He was still alive, right? As far as he knew, anyway. And as far as he knew, he wasn't stuck in a dream. His totem proved that much. Now all he had to do was figure out what to do now that he was here. Where was here, anyway?
Then there was a friendly looking woman making her way toward him, looking as though she meant to speak with him. Well, maybe she could tell him where he was.
...and luckily the friendly looking woman had been able to explain a few things to him. Apparently he had been assigned an apartment, apparently he had been given a PDA and some money as well to get him started in this new place. So, taking the map he had been given, Arthur decided to head toward the apartment complex. It was best to start somewhere, and where he was to live seemed as good of a start as any. It was best to see if there was any food in the apartment, to see if he needed to get any extra changes of clothing or anything with the money he had been given.
He wasn't particularly paying any attention to his surroundings, he was allowing himself to become engulfed in reading the map he was given. And trying to make sure he was headed in the right direction.
