"You be expectin' somethin' less?" He replied, in response to his gentlemenly personality. "Funny, what with all the faces we've taken over da' years, I'd have figured nothin' be surprisin' you." It was light in tone, but somewhat serious as well. Even in spite of this strange body change, the weirdest thing for him was just how dispersed they were in their own respective timelines.
He kept the thoughts to himself as he slipped into her room and began raiding her wardrobe. His present form didn't exactly fill it out the clothes like Rogue's, and certainly nowhere near as nicely in any event, but he managed. Besides, he figured it was a short term solution anyway. He imagined they'd slip out and get new clothes, likely under the guise of an alternate identity, but one step at a time.
Swinging out of the room, Remy patiently waited to see just how she would look in his clothes. This, he reasoned, was probably going to be hilarious -- for both of them.
