It took Rogue a few moments to realize that something was very not right when she woke up that morning. It wasn't until she lifted a hand to rub at her eyes, still mostly half asleep, that there was the sudden realization that something was wrong. Beyond wrong. Her face did not feel like her face and when she pulled the hand back to look it was definitely not her hand. Not even close. The foreign, mannish, appendage stared back at her and Rogue tentatively wiggled her fingers - not entirely sure the whole thing was real or just some terrible dream. When it became clear that the hand did indeed belong to her she slowly got out of her bed and walked to the mirror. For a long moment she just looked at the face staring back at her before she proceeded to tilt her head back and forth. "Well... damn," she muttered to herself and made a face at her new reflection. She was surprisingly calm, but then she'd spent the better part of the week seeing others show up in the wrong bodies so it wasn't as though this was a new thing. She had just hoped she would have been spared whatever this one was. Rogue pulled at the shirt she'd gone to bed in, it was now a few inches too short and definitely a few sizes too small. She looked ridiculous and needed something that fit, or at least had a better chance of coming close to fitting. She bit her lip, steeled herself against the inevitable comments and headed out into the hall. "Ah swear to God one smart ass remark, Cajun, an' ah'll - " she started but the remainder of the threat fell away as she ran into Remy in the hall. "Well, at least ah'm not the only one havin' a bad mornin' ah suppose," she finished instead and shrugged her shoulders. The whole thing was so ridiculous she didn't even know where to start. |
