Snow couldn't help but to smile and let out a contented huff of air. As much as it pained her to have been separated from their daughter for so long, it made her equally as proud to know the woman she'd become. She wished like crazy that they could have shielded Emma from some of the trials and tribulations of her youth but Snow couldn't imagine asking for Emma to be anyone else. She was tenacious, absolutely, and she could see so many of the things she loved about Charming in her as well as the things she loved about herself all mixed in with a bunch of things that were so uniquely Emma. She had no idea what to expect when she'd held her baby once and let her go but she knew that, despite the circumstances, Emma had turned out to be as perfect as Snow could remember her being.
Glancing up at him, she agreed, "She is that, for certain, and she comes by it honestly. It feels impossible, this situation with Henry, but I can't imagine anything being impossible when we'ree all working together." Perhaps it was naive to have so much hope but hope was something Snow never wanted to lose, no matter how hopeless she or a situation felt.
A sadness returned to her eyes, though, at the mention of Regina, and she looked back down at heer mug, her fingers circling around it. "I know she does. She's trying, I know she is. And I know she loves Henry. I'm not sure she believes we're working to the same end, though." She hoped Regina knew that Snow only wanted Henry's safe return but, after all that she'd done, she wasn't sure she could blame her stepmother for hating her.
