Who: Carl Grimes and Sam Winchester
What: Carl arrives in Storybrooke.
When: Sunday, September 29. Afternoon.
Where: The Park.
Rating: G/PG. Maybe a little higher due to the fact that a 13 year old has a gun.
Status: In progress/Closed
Carl was on edge. He was separated from his father and the rest of the group, and he had very little ammunition for the gun he had on him. He had to be careful not to use his ammunition unless he absolutely needed to. He knew that if he used it unnecessarily, it would likely draw more walkers toward him. Possibly more walkers than he had bullets. And that would be a very bad thing. He was walking through the woods, as quietly as he could manage. Where had everyone gone? He had only paused for a moment or two before heading in the direction he believed they were headed.
How could he have been separated from them so quickly? This was impossible. Where was the prison? They hadn't gone that far away from the property, why couldn't he find it? "Dad? Daryl?" His voice was barely above a whisper, he didn't want to yell and attract walkers toward him. But how would he know where the group had gone if he didn't at least try to let them know his wereabouts?
That was when he started noticing things. Differences. The fall leaves were a different shade than previously. And... what was that? He started moving in the direction of what appeared to be a clearing to walk into... a park? There were no parks near the prison. None like this, anyway. But... there was movement. It appeared that the figures he saw walking around were alive and well, but he definitely didn't want to take a chance. His fingers wrapped around the handle of his gun, he wanted to be prepared.
"Hello!" a voice called out, causing Carl to jump slightly. He immediately pulled out his gun and pointed it in the direction of the voice. But... walkers couldn't talk. The person's voice had to belong to a living person. A living person. He hesitated for a moment, and lowered his gun. "Where am I?" he asked. "Where's my father?"
