"You'd think I'd be used to weird by now, but nope. It's as though I get a new kind of weird at least once a week." She found that she could relax a smidge as she got a better look at him. While he had features that reminded her of Clark Luthor, like the dark hair and the blue eyes, it wasn't as though he was identical and Lois found that it made things a easier on her to some extent. So she accepted the offered hand and gave it a firm shake, to show she was okay with this. "And technically it's Mrs. Queen. Or Lane-Queen, but Lois is fine, unless you have a problem with that."
Still, Lois found herself staring at him, her eyes narrowing as though trying to see right through him and find out what made him tick. "It's nice to meet you though." Was it? She hadn't quite decided yet as her obvious scrutinizing of him would tell. "God, you don't even carry yourself like him." She shook her head in disbelief. Portals, not her world's Tess, now this. Her life, what even was it anymore? "I'm sorry. I just.. I'm not exactly sure what I expected."
