John didn't know what to think. A young woman had just come out to meet him on the street where he'd arrived, feeling completely out of sorts but otherwise fine, to tell him that a portal had taken him from Beacon Hills and dropped him in a harbor town called Storybrooke, Maine. Maine! From the West Coast to the East Coast in seconds flat. If he wasn't internally freaking out from even more unexplained supernatural phenomenon, he would have suggested they find a way to stabilize the portals and sell trips in and out. Better than flying, in his opinion.
As it was, he was freaking out. He'd just been with his son and here he was, alone. Where was Stiles? Had he been left behind, was he sent here too, was he okay?
"I need my son! Stiles Stilinski! Have you seen him? He was just with me before I got here. I need to find him!"
The woman explained that he was there and had been for some time. This made no sense since he'd just been with Stiles at the station. He didn't care though. Things had stopped making sense so long ago and no matter how much he'd start to understand one thing, something else would throw him for yet another loop.
"Where is he! Tell me! I need to see him!"
The woman told him where he would be staying and gave him his welcome information and things he would need before letting him know that he had an apartment and that Stiles would be moving in with him as soon as he got settled. Melissa McCall, a woman he knew, had been watching out for him. He was surprised to hear that Melissa and her son were both here as well. He would have to find them later but right now, he needed to see Stiles. He needed to be with his son. The lady told him where he was currently staying. He thanked her and rushed off, the woman calling off directions to the towers at his retreating back.
He reached the building and rushed to the room she'd told him. He double checked the number against the one she said and then he was banging on the door.
"Stiles? STILES? OPEN UP! IT'S YOUR FATHER! ARE YOU IN THERE? STILES!"
