On the whole, the Son of Odin was finding Storybrooke to be a relatively pleasant place. So far it had reunited him with his friends, provided him with a Loki, whom Thor very much believed to still be capable of redemption, and there was also Jane Foster. This was not even to take into account the fact that he had also been reunited with coffee and pancakes, which were two of his favorite things on Midgard or otherwise. Now the place had brought him the first of his band from Asgard. Storybrooke was looking up more and more by the day. Even with the troubling revelation about the lack of Schwarma, even with the notion of being temporarily trapped within this tiny city, even though it appeared that Sif hailed from a different point in time than himself, Thor could not bring himself to be too troubled by this place. She had, at least, known who he was, which was a fate Thor understood not all of the recent arrivals of this place were fortunate enough to know. No, if Thor were to be entirely honest, he could have gone so far to say he was happy to be here, so long as he kept on with the idea that eventually things would get back to normal. All notions of worry however, as Thor set out from the small place he now shared with Jane and Darcy. Sif would need the full of Thor's resolve if he was going to help her adapt to what he knew to be a strange situation. This held doubly so considering Sif had claimed to be coming in from in the middle of a battle. Thor made a few checks to the PDA, to see if Sif had shed any light on just which battle, but his primary focus remained finding her. The answers could all come later. Fortunately Storybrooke was nowhere near the size of New York. It reminded him, at least in terms of size, of the small town he had visited after being cast out of Asgard. That meant that the trip to the clock tower, to find Sif, would not take him long at all. Thor was already all bright smiles and excitement by the time his eyes first laid on her shape. By the time he'd closed the distance between the two, he was positively beaming. It was always a pleasure to see any of his band, after all, and this was doubly true after any kind of forced dislocation among the group. "Sif." Thor spoke firmly, marking his entrance, before sticking his hand out to greet her formally. The legendary hug of Thor? That would probably come after. |
