"Of course I am." Despite his dark mood, Teddy smiled at her. His arms slipped around her and he hugged her tightly. Like her, he didn't want to let go. A part of him was afraid that she was going to disappear, too, then way his mum had. Maybe if he held onto her tightly enough he could prevent that from happening.
"Let's have a walk through town," he said decisively, sliding his hand down her arm until he was able to lace his fingers with hers. It was really great to see her. Having Victoire made this place more bearable. It was mad being here. It was having her there that made it feel a bit more like home, though he still wished they weren't stuck here like this.
