There was a lot for Rebekah to think about in the events of the past several days. The fact that Rebekah was now living with her brother, Niklaus didn't seem to weigh as heavy on her mind as it once did. There was still a part of Rebekah that was not ready to give her brother a chance, but Elijah, like he always did, found a way to get the message under her skin. Family had always been her number one priority in her long life, but the Mikaelson's were very far from perfect. It would take time, if possible at all, to be where she could just Nik again, but she wouldn't deny that she did miss her brother. No, it was more than family weighing on her mind tonight. Coming across a slayer that knew Rebekah was a vampire was more annoying than troublesome. At least this slayer had the sense to be civil. It was more than what she had experienced, and maybe she was a little disappointed, it was all very pragmatic. Many thoughts were running through her mind as she entered the Hanged Man, the knew bar that Hook had told her about. Fortunately, all Rebekah wanted to do know was to chat with a new friend and have a drink. If word was going to get out in the town that she was a vampire, why not just go with the flow as the mortals say. It was tiresome keeping that part of herself hidden fro the world, especially since she was on her way with finally coming to terms with who and what she was. Grinning, Rebekah placed herself at the bar as she looked over the number of drinks that were offered. For now she could at least relax and have a good drink, and worry about the rest later. |
