Being that their apartments were right next to each other it was little wonder that Garrus and Tali bumped into each other on their ways out. Sitting around in the apartment all the time drove Garrus stir crazy which was funny for a guy who was used to being stuck on a ship. Still there was more to do on a ship, things to keep both his hands and his mind busy. He was feeling a strong need to get out and go do something and he had a feeling that Tali was of a like mind when he seen her step out of her apartment and also head for the elevator. Garrus silently came up behind her and waited until the elevator doors had opened and she had stepped on before he followed. "So, just like old times," he stated as the doors closed. "Care to share some stories?" She didn't have a shot gun this time so it was safe to hackle her about such things. Ah, good times. Waiting for the oddly slow elevator to get them where they were going. It gave the team time to bond and share and Tali had always regaled with stories about her people. Of course she and Garrus hadn't gotten along as well back then so it had lead to some intense and interesting conversations. "If it helps, I can start first," he started as as the elevator gave a jerk and sent Garrus stumbling. He reached out and grabbed Tali before she could take a spill as well, grabbing a hold of the railing on the elevator wall as he did to keep them both upright. "Well you did complain about me not liking to get close," he muttered as the light in the elevator went out and the emergency one came on. |
