WHO: Cosette Fauchelevent and OPEN! WHAT: Exploring WHEN: Monday afternoon WHERE: Storybrooke, and the Coffee Shop WARNINGS: TBD, likely low STATUS: Open!/Ongoing
Never, in all of her life, had Cosette ever been in a place like this. Nearly everything in this place was strange to her, from the dress of the people, to the metal boxes that screamed down the street, to the strange products in the windows of the stores. It was frightening and exciting all at once. But she was too curious, too young and excited about life to stay in her apartment, quivering in fear. No! She wanted to learn, to see all the new things this world had to offer. She wanted to learn about everything until she was no longer afraid of it, and enrich her life with the things around her.
That was why the sunny afternoon found her walking the sidewalks of Storybrooke, dressed in a comfortable muslin day dress, with a bonnet over her blonde ringlets. Every few moments, she ducked into a store to examine something she had seen, to ask questions of the store owner, before either making a purchase (she had made several, already!) or leaving empty handed, but with a mind full of knowledge and often more questions.
As she walked, she reached the coffee shop, and was pleasantly accosted by the smells that came from within. Pulling out her coin purse, she decided that she had enough for a little something to eat, and stepped inside, gazing at the menu and all the confections.
Stepping forward, she ordered a cappucino (what a pretty word it was, it had to be delicious!) and a pastry of some sort that was made with fresh blueberries. She carried it to a table by the window, and watched the people around her as she ate daintily.
