Who: Cordelia Chase and Angel. What: More catching up. Where: Angel's apartment. When: Backdated to last week. The day after Cordy showed up. Rating: We'll go with PG-13 for talks of death and angst. Status: Thread/Incomplete/In Progress.
Cordelia used to like surprises. That had stopped being the case a few years back when Sunnydale had become the most popular destination for demons and vampires. Every week seemed to bring some kind of new evil thing and about half the time, said evil thing was trying to kill her. Cordelia no longer liked surprises.
So when she learned from both Wesley and Angel that there was still more to the story of what happened to her friends -- no. To her family, she knew she needed to hear it, and as soon as possible. She didn't want to wind up hearing about it from someone else. It was strange enough to find out she was a fictional character to some people in Storybrooke, that they knew more about her life than she did. She didn't want to be caught off guard, because she could tell by the way they had both hesitated, that whatever happened after she died wasn't good.
She'd passed out the night before, which was kind of surprising considering everything that happened once she'd come through the portal. She'd been afraid she'd be unable to sleep after learning about her own death, but that hadn't been the case. And since she'd just come out of a coma, she assumed it was just emotional exhaustion that caused her to sleep so soundly. Even knowing Lilah Morgan was just a few feet away, possibly plotting her death (and Cordelia couldn't really blame her since Cordelia had actually killed Lilah) hadn't interrupted her slumber.
But now she was awake. Wide awake. Dressed in the same clothes as the day before, which she was going to have to remedy ASAP after talking to Angel. She reached out, knocking on his apartment door and waiting.
