Who: Logan and Laura / Wolverine and X-23 What: Laura arrives unhappy, Logan goes to keep things level. Where: The Docks When: Just after Laura's arrival Rating: High. I imagine. Notes:
So, Laura was here. That had been a surprise in an of itself, and almost equally as unfortunate as everyone else being pulled in too. It wasn't that Logan was unhappy to see them, which wasn't exactly saying he was happy in all cases either, but rather that they too had been yanked into this horror show of happiness too. Nobody deserved that. The fact that she'd shown up and was already saying she was angry? It put a real fire in his step as he practically jogged his way down to the docks.
This place was turning into a damn time bomb. More and more people were coming in from his world. Banner was here and that, by itself, was enough to concern him. The fact that Stark was also here, as was his punchy, army buddy, sidekick? That wasn't much of a comfort for Logan, even with the added bonuses of the few people he did want to see hear. The fact that Charles Xavier was some young, probably twice as pompous, and doubly as arrogant, kid? That didn't help either.
As much as Logan might have been at odds with the guy, he had to respect him..when he was an adult. As a young kid, fresh in a wheelchair, with his sister, who just happened to be one of the people in the world Logan trusted least, and his old pal Magneto to boot? Yeah. This was going to be a real god-damned circus, when it was all said and done. Logan knew, despite his general attitude of 'not my problem', that this was one of those times he was going to have to step in. The last thing this little town needed right now was and angry and confused Laura Kinney, carving paper dolls out of all the brick buildings...and that was best case scenario.
Logan paused once to sniff at the air. She was close, that was good. It also seemed like there weren't too many other scents in the immediate air, and he didn't smell blood either. At least she hadn't mauled anyone, though he really couldn't have blamed her if she did. Had she ever had anything like this happen? Not that he knew. Which meant not only was she sucked into somewhere she didn't belong, she had no way to get her barrings outside of her natural skill (which he implicitly trusted, just not to take over right away), and likely a bunch of strangers getting in her face. These people really had no idea how lucky they were.
"Hey. Kid." He called gruffly, still not able to see her, but knowing she was nearby. "Come on out." He knew she'd know him. He knew she'd likely been able to smell him from far away. Now it was just a matter of getting her out and talking.
