If Jessica was honest, she had tricked herself into believing that perhaps Jack hadn't noticed the way her fangs came into full view during the middle of their evening. It was damn near impossible to not notice them but she had thought perhaps he hadn't. After all, their evening hadn't gone off track and he hadn't run from her. She was still adjusting to the notion of a world where people didn't necessarily know that vampires existed. But, then again, she was also adjusting to a world where fiction was colliding with reality. And that she was fiction. Still, a different matter entirely than this one. When he hadn't spoken of it, she tricked herself into that belief.
She didn't mind that he knew, especially when it became apparent that he didn't care if she was or not. It was honestly a relief. She didn't like pretending about who she was and she wasn't necessarily good at it. Needless to say, him knowing and being alright with it was a load off her shoulders.
Practically bouncing on her toes, it wasn't hard to find 602. The towers weren't difficult to navigate after all. A swift knock was given to his front door. Odd, it seemed, to be meeting him in an apartment. It didn't seem to suit.
