Henry was adjusting to this new world rather well for him. Surprisingly well, even. While he did not appreciate the others not recognizing that he was, in fact, King of England, and refused to show him any sort of respect because of this, he found that this Maine was a rather nice place. Almost relaxing, really. He didn't have to concern himself with anything, not like back at home when he had to concern himself with the troubles of the land. Of the country.
But that wasn't to say that he didn't wish to be back home. He missed his children, he almost missed Catherine. Almost. If there was one good thing about being here in Maine, though, it was that his ex-wife, Anne of Cleves, was there as well. While he hadn't seen her yet, he knew she was there. They had spoken over the small device that somehow connected people to each other.
Seeing Anne was to be the highlight of his day. He needed to see a familiar face, he needed to know that someone else from his time, from his England, was there in Storybrooke. Someone who knew him as King, someone who may still treat him the way he was used to being treated.
So he and Anne had agreed to meet at Granny's Diner at noon, and Henry arrived at Granny's right on time. He had adjusted to this Maine well enough to be dressed in a dark grey suit, something completely different from what he was used to wearing. But it was comfortable enough. He found a table for he and Anne to sit, and waited patiently for the woman to arrive.
