"Not even on the list? That hurts, kid," he said and even touched a hand to his chest for effect. The feeling, though, was decidedly mutual. There were many reasons Len preferred to live alone (shared safehouse bases not withstanding) but the primary reason was trust. He was not, by nature, a trusting person. And unlike Barry he could count on one hand the number of people in his life he could actually stand being around for prolonged periods of time. Lisa and Mick were exclusive to that category, which was why his work with the Legends was so far outside of his usual comfort zone.
After a brief moment of indecision he decided to take a seat in the one other chair in the living room. Standing by the door watching Barry was starting to feel at least a little awkward and he felt more at ease sitting down with his ankle crossed over his knee. It also gave him a slightly better look at the bruises Barry was sporting.
"I'd have to get caught for you to be accused of accessory. But fine. I'll work it out somewhere else." Barry couldn't stop him from working out the plans in his own head, at least. But he could find an alternative location. Or an eventual accomplice, even, although that came with it's own risks. So probably not. Probably he'd have to settle on some temporary venue. At least now he had something productive to do.
Those bruises were really bothering him though. But when Barry revealed the source, they made a little more sense. It was enough to make his eyes narrow a fraction more. All he knew of Zoom was what he'd seen through the media. Footage, and some limited information beyond that. He knew that he was fast, and that he was strong, and that Barry seemed to be at a disadvantage if all the rumors were true.
"It looks like you got your ass kicked, Scarlet. Again. You have all those fancy speed tricks but did ever actually learn how to fight?"
