The days of being spooked away by A or anyone else trying to threaten whatever barrier of limited peace she had built around herself were far enough away that Aria didn't immediately jump a mile away at the sound of footsteps approaching. Even though she had the ability to watch what was happening back home on her show, she did her best to avoid that as much as possible, and it was doing wonders for her peace of mind. That didn't mean she wasn't a little startled by the sudden presence of someone striding up to the docks, but at least it wasn't a heart-stopping startle.
Eyes squinting into the light, Aria could make out the figure of a man approaching. He didn't seem threatening (considering he even apologized), so she allowed herself to drop her guard, not even realizing she had put it up in the first place. As he came closer, his features came more into focus, and Aria gave him a kind smile. "Hey. It's okay. I wasn't really doing anything where you could say you actually interrupted." She casually kicked at an invisible object on the floor, because what she felt was silly for standing around and thinking through her options instead of just doing what she always did and going for it. Maybe all she needed was a little boost.
"Actually... I was thinking of getting a haircut." She picked at the ends of her hair and folded it to about the length she remembered seeing on her actress in pictures and on the show this season. She tilted her head at him and posed in what she thought was a cute manner. "What do you think? Too short?"
