It was... well, almost nice to have someone that wasn't about to instantly vilify her for her actions while host to the cosmic bitch slap that was the Phoenix, few could understand just how consuming that power was, the drive to change and fix and destroy everything around them. The other four, perhaps, however each of them lost their piece of the Force before she and Scott did, before Scott ripped hers out of her by force.
Bastard.
Probably better than none of them were here, even with Ms Pryde and her condescension and morals, and Logan's high horse, the damn Avengers and their smugness, it was fine. Emma was used to the lions den. "There is just something unsettling about being deconstructed on a molecular level and thrust through time and space to be reassembled." Although she didn't think Illyana or Kurt travelled in the same manner, it was highly off putting all the same.
"There's little you can go wrong with it seems, the old bat that runs the place doesn't seem to do poor food." Although Emma avoided the meatloaf and 'meat surprise' purely for her own piece of mind. "Although if you have a sweet tooth, the death by chocolate is an excellent way to go."
Emma may or may not have given up on minding her intake -she was set for years of prison rubbish, she'd rather enjoy a few good meals first, thank you very much. "I will be having the apple pie, with ice cream, and a white coffee, please dear." The server girl wasn't too far away, and evidently could take the order all the same from the other end of the counter, as used to new appearances as they must be by now.
