Riley's pluse quickened when she felt the blossoming emotions. It was both intimately familiar and yet not hers; had he known they could do that? Fingers wrapped around Will's arm and, with a bemused expression, she tried to return the favor. Love, and joy at his being with her (and guiltshamefear still lingering from their time in Iceland.) She wasn't much more confidant about the situation with the locals, but she trusted Will and Wolfgang in a way she had never expected. The two of them, and the rest of the cluster, had been through so much in such a short time. Riley had learned to survive on her own, after the crash, but with Will and the cluster she actually had a shot at taking care of herself again, caring enough to really try.
When Will joked about leaning on her, Riley stood and stepped against his side, wrapping an arm around his middle. There was only a moment's hesitation, which really was absurd in retrospect. She had helped him move around before, when he was unconscious. He had apparently tried to carry her out of a hospital when their situations were reversed. It was just the new feeling of, well, everything making her a jumble of nerves. "I'm stronger than I look. I think I can take it,"
She gave one last look around the room- "Did you need anything else? Did they... bring anything with you?" All Riley had was what was in her pockets when she'd fallen asleep. Not that she had need of much more than that so far, but whatever they could scrap together might be useful when they did finally try to leave for good.
