Unfortunately for Jarvis, Tony wasn't at home. He was where he could usually be found -- off in his little cabin in the woods. But it was more like home to him than Storybrook ever could be. The apartment they had was on a low floor, no sweeping vistas like he was used to. (And besides, there wasn't much one could really see in this place either. But there you had it.)
He at least had his cabin in the woods -- named because it was both a cabin and in the woods. Plus it was fantastic to say and watch the horrified looks pass over peoples' faces. Because, well. Cabin in the woods. But it had become his makeshift workshop and was absolutely perfect for his needs. He could play around to his hearts' content and if there was an explosion or six no one really noticed and / or said anything.
So when Jarvis knocked -- it was the disembodied voice of the man's AI who answered instead.
[Ah, you must be my namesake,] came the cultured English voice. [It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am JARVIS, Mr Stark's AI. Mr. Stark is not currently at home, but he left instructions that I was to give you directions.] A hologram popped up on the door of the apartment with a map directly to Tony's little hide-away. [You will find sir there, Mr. Jarvis.]
