It felt like forever since anyone had touched her. She had isolated herself pretty completely after her arrival in Storybrooke. Other than drinks occasionally with friends and class, Sharon had stayed away from people. His gentle touch threw her off for a second and it took a minute before she could look up at him and smile.
"You want to hear something silly?" she asked. "It took me three times to figure out what to wear. Three times. You've seen me in so many different things and it still took me three times." Different types of clothing and without clothing at all. That alone made it ridiculous.
She laughed softly and shook her head. "Shall we go?" Part of her didn't want to go. Part of her wanted to just stand there with him. No one else. She knew that would never last and it wouldn't be long before they were spotted. Depending on who saw them, they would never get away. It always seemed that there was someone who wanted to talk to Steve about one thing or another. Everyone loved him. "I want pie. Also, I want you to have pie. Just so I can see your face when you realize how right I was about Granny's food."
