"Good...because I was deeply considering lifting the burden on your taste buds and just using both forks to scoop that all in my mouth." He smiled a little. It wasn't as forced as it had been previously, which he believed was a good thing considering.
He tilted his head to the side as he considered 'whipped brains' being the new Bloody Mary and inwardly shuddered but didn't show any of that outside. There really wasn't any judgement there...maybe a little gagging but Dean was getting used to watching her get her munchies on that it didn't really seem to bother him as much as it should have. As much as it would have. Dean didn't honestly care as long as Liv was there.
Only because he was getting sick and tired of feeling alone. Even with Sam there. He still felt alone.
"Sam...he knew what he was getting himself into. He didn't have the right to involve her in it." Dean knew his brother was hurting but it was a hurt that Sam could have avoided easily. By telling Charlie to beat it. By not involving Rowena of all people and by having Cas even lie to him. Sure, him asking people to lie about the show was one thing. They were strangers. But asking people Dean considered family was another thing all together. They were family. The lie was deeper.
"Charlie. Her name is..." He caught himself for a moment, taking a deep breath. "...was Charlie. Little weird, liked the LARP, wanted to be a hunter even though that really wasn't the life for her. Too smart to be hanging out with us."
