"Of course I brought pie. No ulterior motives, but if you share I won't complain. I'm just a man of my word. Except when I say I'm not going to do something stupid. I've been told I'm actually pretty good at going out and doing stupid things." For the right reasons, he'd argue. Not that it got him any less flack but that was a good thing. A necessary thing, actually. Steve was glad he had people in his life again to go out of their way to tell him if he was being to reckless. It was easier to be careless when there was no one around to care, and he didn't want to know what it might be like to get to that point. He'd certainly come close before.
Bucky's room looked lived in and he was pleased to see that. It wasn't a mess or anything but it wasn't up to military standards by any means. It wasn't stripped of personality, and that was probably the best indication that Bucky really had figured out how to carve out a space for himself called 'home'. Better than Steve, probably. He didn't quite know what to call his apartment with Sam. Home in the sense that it was where he slept at night but home was more than that. He was still missing some pieces for that puzzle, but Steve was a lot more at home in Storybrooke than when he'd started. So, hey, progress. At least he hoped so.
"You had bunk beds?" He bit his lip and restrained a laugh. "That's a funny picture. Maybe Sam and I should have done that. Then again I don't think I'd fit in a bunk bed very well now." Steve settled into the pillows and such easily enough. It reminded him a little of all those times years ago when they'd camp out on couch cushions together in front of the radio in Brooklyn. Trading stories or baseball cards. He wasn't sure sometimes how many of those moments Bucky remembered but the fact that he remembered some of them was more than enough.
"I kind of want to say no, too. It's never been my favorite. I've been told, emphatically, I need to avoid Titanic. Some of the more recent comedy still goes over my head a little but beyond that? There are still a lot of movies I need to catch up on. I wish I had my list. If it's horror I say pass on vampires."
