Admittedly, that was easier than Adam expected it to be. He now understood a little bit better why his brothers were so revered and feared. They were resourceful and smart. They were strong and cunning. He knew he still had a lot to learn, but for the first time in a long time, he felt like he had a fighting chance against the evils of the world. His brothers had made that possible, learning and struggling along the way just to make the world a better place. He could do that too. For them. For himself.
He stared at Ruby who was now contained within her pentagram with ill-disguised hatred, as if she was the sole reason for all their misfortune. He didn't speak, couldn't bring himself to utter a single word at her, his quiet reservation startling even himself. The anger he felt flooded his veins, making them thick and heavy. If he could only channel that all anger at her, maybe he could even destroy her. It was just that powerful, or at least it felt that way to him.
Glancing over at Sam but still keeping Ruby in his periphery, he muttered through clenched teeth, "How do we kill her?"
