This town was dreadful. Absolutely dreadful.
Lawful coppers, happy locals, zero criminal activity. Fish was in her own personal hell, she was sure of it. Well, not completely. It would be if that damn Penguin was its ruler. But the pasty snitch was nowhere to be found. The only people from Gotham--her Gotham--was the Wayne boy and his butler. Since first speaking with the child months ago, Fish had kept her distance. Establishing a name for herself and gaining a position of power was the first thing on her list. But this dreadful town hadn't given her anything to work with.
So most of the time, Fish spent her time in her room, plotting and musing--she would not call it "moping"--over her current predicament. On one occasion, she found herself that the bar, using the bartender to bounce thoughts off of without getting too much into the details of what she was craving, crime and power. One mention of her nightclub and another customer pointed her to the local one ran by a curious individual by the name of Vex. And that's how she found herself on its doorstep.
Observing it from the front, Fish wasn't impressed. It lacked the class and sophistication of her establishment back home. The same could be said for the inside. Arm folded, she observed the bar-goers dancing under flashing lights, loud music thumping in her ears. She couldn't place its genre; the town was not longer a different but a different time as well. However, she knew she would find the owner on the upper level overseeing the club. She took her time climbing up the steps before coming before a bouncer blocking her way.
"I'm here to see who's in charge," she projected over the music, tilting her chin up at the taller man. "Be a doll and get him."
