Ellana moaned as she rolled over and winced as she held her side. Slowly the elf stood up and looked around, it appears she was caught in the avalanche that she caused. Rubbing her head, she was lucky to be alive – that was for sure. Ellana looked around and saw a small little opening that she could crawl through; she had to get out from wherever she had fallen into.
She found her staff and made her way out of the small cavern she had found herself in. After a few more moments she pushed herself through into a larger opening. She stayed quiet as she heard voices up ahead. Peeking around the corner she saw the demons, a few stragglers that had somehow survived the initial avalanche. “Ow” She whispered as she held her left hand as it glowed, it was like it was telling her to do something.
Unsure what to do, Ella held out her hand as a green electric arc formed and a rift above the demons head formed. Instead of more demons crawling out, it appeared that the demons were being sucked back into or being killed off. The green rift quickly closed and her path was clear. Was this a new power? She continued forward always on the look out for more stragglers but her path was cleared to the surface.
The elf took a deep breath of the fresh air and shivered, night had fallen and she had no idea where she was. Shivering, Ella wrapped her arms around her as she walked out into the blizzard. She wasn’t sure how long she had been walking until she saw another rift – but it wasn’t glowing green like the others. In fact, she couldn’t sense anything about the fade about it, nor was her hand reacting to it. Carefully, Ellana walked towards it and wondered what kind of magic it was. It wasn’t elven, and if it was it wasn’t anything she has seen in all her learning.
Against her better judgment, Ellana reached out for it and then she was no longer in the mountains. She couldn’t say it was a village or city as it was one she had never seen before. The elf looked around, she was not Theades that much was for sure.
Holding her side as she looked around. Everything was strange and foreign to her. The buildings, roads, even the lights were strange. Wincing again, Ellana paused to catch her breath - this wasn't Theades and it wasn't the Fade so where was she?
