Elsa was confused by everything around her. This place wasn't Arendelle, and she wasn't sure how she had come to be here. Everything was strange and frightening, and she just wanted to be home. She looked around in confusion, jumping at a loud noise that came from a strange metal carriage that had raced toward her only to stop abruptly. Holding up her hands defensively, she watched as a wall of ice rose between her and the...whatever it was. She looked around more, but nobody seemed especially scared of her. That was good, at least. She didn't know this place, and she certainly hadn't meant to reveal her powers to everyone around. Discretion was important still, no matter how understanding her own kingdom had been.
She would have felt better if she had known where her sister was, but Anna was nowhere in sight. "Anna!" she called, feeling her composure slipping as she looked for her sister. "Anna! Are you here? Where are you?" She needed Anna. Without the other woman, she wasn't sure how she was going to keep control of herself. Anything could have happened to her sister, and she would have no way of knowing or helping. She and Anna had been through quite enough lately, and she wasn't going to lose her sister now. She knew panicking wouldn't help and would only cause more problems in the end, but she couldn't help her reaction. She was scared, more than scared really. And when she was scared, her powers reacted. She hadn't even noticed the snow that was falling in sheets or the ice spreading along the ground until there was a full-on storm happening. And, as much as she would have liked to stop it, she couldn't move past her fear and her worry for her sister to do so. Anna. She needed Anna. Once she found her sister, everything would be fine. Until then...she hoped these people liked winter.
She felt ill at ease out in the open, and she ran in the direction of a group of trees. With her agitation, it continued to get colder. When she was in the middle of the park, she stopped, glad to be alone. The lake had frozen and she stood in the middle of it, wondering what she was meant to do now. Still, she couldn't seem to calm herself down. Nothing made sense and she didn't know where she was and nothing like this had ever happened before. She just wanted to go home, where she was safe and everything was fine. Moving her hands, she concentrated and ice began building around her. It wasn't quite so big as the castle she had made before, but it did cover a good part of the frozen lake. It would keep her safe, away from other people, and if Anna was around, it would give her sister an easy way to find her. Anna was clever. She would take notice of the palace of ice.
