This was not happening. It was not happening. There was no way that she could just end up somewhere else. One minute she was looking at Hopper... The little dragon (she still refused to call it a demon) was curled up on a scarf looking rather comfortable and pleased with itself. Apparently the donate had been more than enough for it's appetite and it was at least not screeching. Everything was such a mess. Her mind was running around in circles and nothing felt... right maybe? She felt like she didn't know who she was anymore.
So much had changed, so much had changed, that she was still trying to find her footing. The only thing that made sense to her, that she truly believed was important was that she was going to have to get some rest before she started to focus on the millions of things at hand, the millions of questions and obstacles that were in her path. Not to mention Adrian, he found a way to sneak into her mind as well, she'd told him nothing could happen and she was going to Mexico, but now with the foam in Latte (the poor thing) and her necklace... She was just about to empty the contents of the envelope that Mrs. Terwilliger had given her, she was just about to read it when the area around her started to change.... She found herself standing just outside of what looked like a town in the North East. How on earth did she go from Palm Springs California to this? If she wasn't mistaken they must be pretty far north, given the temperature and the greenery.
Her first thought was that this was a dream and if she spun around Adrian would appear, it didn't really feel like a spirit dream though. She knew what those felt like, and looked like. There was also no Adrian in it. That was about the second that low levels of panic set in. This had to be something magical? What if… What if she was found out and this was some kind of… No, that wasn't logical either.
The problem was, was there was no logical explanation for exactly what was happening or where she was or how she got there. Taking a deep breath she started to walk towards what looked a road into town. She had to at the very least figure out where she was, how she got there and how to get back to where Jill was, because if something like this could happen, Jill could be in danger.
