Who: Deadpool and Sharon Carter (MCU) What: Deadpool finds out his 'satchel' doesn't work Where: The forest When: After the Marvel team switches out the magic satchel Rating: PG Status: Good to stand on its own as a solo narrative, unless somebody wants to tag. Note: If somebody wants to jump in, I'd prefer somebody who hasn't interacted with Deadpool before, to give other characters a chance <3
Deadpool sneaked his way to the Super Secret Location, mimicking Jake and Elwood (at 1:09), but not doing a really good job because he also had to sing the accompanying song out loud.
"Hidee hidee hidee hi!"
Hidee hidee hidee hi!
"Hodee hodee hodee ho!"
Hodee hodee hodee ho!
"Hee dee hee dee hee dee hee!"
Hee dee hee dee hee dee hee!
He got to the spot - a hollow log in the middle of the forest.
"She messed around with a bloke named Smoky. She loved him though he was cokey." He put his hand into the hole and dug around until he felt the satchel. "He took her down to Chinatown, and he showed her how to kick the gong around."
Deadpool couldn't remember exactly when and where he picked up the magic satchel. It was one of those things that just sort of appeared in his possession and he started to take it for granted. Whenever he wanted a weapon, no matter how large or outlandish, he was able to reach in and pull it out.
Except this time, when he tried, he felt, "Nothing."
Confused, Deadpool removed his hand and peered inside. Then turned the satchel upside down and shook. Then turned it inside out. Still nothing.
"Huh. That's never happened before."
Deadpool stood there for several silent moments with the bag limp in his hands.
Then put the empty satchel over his head to see what would happen. It got dark. So Deadpool began walking through the forest, satchel still over his head, his arms stretched in front to feel where he was going, bumping into trees and stumbling over foliage.
