"Damn right." Logan thumped his glass against the table before he raised it to the three of them. "I'm starting to think any groups that's named on an acronym is just nothin' but trouble." Of course, that wasn't entirely true. Even if he didn't always see eye to eye with S.H.I.E.L.D., he couldn't always say he saw them in the wrong either. Still, he couldn't think of even one that didn't end up causing a whole mess of trouble at one point.
"I'm startin' to think no one's as gone as it seems..." Logan replied to the story finally, his free hand dropping from the table to discreetly seek out Carol's own for a moment. "Not that I'm gonna complain about that as far as this table's concerned." He grinned slightly. "So, you actually got Richards to play along and bring you back huh?" Logan half wanted to ask where he had been in all this but, the reality of the situation wasn't too hard to figure out.
The memory of Daken seemed to cast a shadow over his face for the moment before he shook it off and returned to the conversation at hand. "And now you've got Hill running the show?" Logan half shrugged and seemed to consider it for a moment, before taking another haul off his beer. "I imagine she doesn't do too bad, least she never smelled as bad as Fury." He glanced up at Steve. "No offense."
"So what about you?" He gave Carol a playful nudge with his elbow. "I see a whole mess of trouble's showed up since I've been gone." Which hardly came as a surprise, this place was a whole world of crazy and a half universe of nuts. "I figure it couldn't have been too bad, since that punch of yours didn't send me through a wall." He half-grunted out a laugh -- a sure sign he was actually in a good mood.
