Annie pushed the now filleted fish away, instead spanning her hands flat across the cool surface in front of her. She looked down at them, pale fingers splayed across the dark suface, before curling her fingers into her palms and looking back at Finnick with a faint smile.
"It's lovely."
She couldn't help quickly examining him for any signs that something might be wrong. After all, having too much time to think wasn't always a good thing for people who... well, people who had been through what they had. But she couldn't see any hints that anything was amiss, and so Annie tried to push her concerns away. There wasn't any reason to be frightened here, after all. Thats what people kept saying..
Annie pushed her still damp hair back over her shoulder, and leaned a little closer to Finnick, letting her hands fall into her lap.
