Kitty listened. And, in spite of herself, she found her mouth curving into a smile again.
"That's... I honestly hadn't thought about it like that. And it is nice to not be chased or shot at or hunted down." Maybe the time in Storybrooke really would help her when she went back. Even if she didn't remember it. Maybe it would give her the strength she needed to hold on through the injury and the pain and the fear.
And maybe someone would be able to tell her if it worked. It wasn't much. But Kitty was used to getting by on whatever threads of hope she could find.
Kitty reached over, ignoring the pizza grease, and put her hand on Jubilee's. "It is enough. And I'm really glad you're here and that we're roomies, even if we're from different worlds."
